Friends of the Peabody Institute Libraries
- Believe that resources should be free to all?
- Like what the library offers and would like to see it continue?
- Believe that the library is an important part of your community?
- Feel that programming for adults is an opportunity for lifelong learning?
- Feel programming for children and teens is an important way to support the city’s youth?
The Friends of the Peabody Institute Libraries have been working since 1999 to help the Peabody Library offer programs, experiences and more to keep the library’s community thriving. In 2018, the Friends provided the library with over $15,000 in funds that sponsored library programming thanks to the contributions of our members. The Friends strive to continue our support of the Peabody Institute Libraries but we can’t do it without your help.
The Peabody Library engages its community through programs and resources but has no separate programming budget. With your support, the Friends can provide the library with funds to offer quality programming that serves the community’s needs. Please help us keep the library’s programs relevant and innovative by becoming a member.
