Programming in Peabody :

1. Peabody librarians agressively program. There is always something going on.

2. Trustee and director support is fundamental to programming success.

Examples of Successful Peabody Programs :

1. PrimeTime Peabody: PrimeTime Peabody was a yearlong series of programs hosted by the Peabody Institute Library. The programs were designed to respond to the lifelong educational, recreational and cultural needs and interests of the diverse and growing community of active, older adults in Peabody.

2. Alternative Teen Fashion Show: Teens learned to sew their own clothes and then modeled their new fashions at a fashion show hosted by the library.

3. Annual Fall Concert Series: Each year, we host a series of five concerts which are all free and open to the public. The series presents a wide variety of music including folk, jazz and classical programs.
